The 1878 Medium Roast Cafe is based on the original 1878 line combining top-quality tobaccos with rich coffee flavor. An Ecuador Sun Grown wrapper covers Nicaraguan and Dominican long-filler tobaccos that are infused with coffee and real cane sugar adding natural sweetness to these medium-bodied premiums. The PDR 1878 Dark Roast Cafe offers the same quality, but includes the use of coffee and cane sugar during the blending process of this finely-crafted cigar. This premium cigar sports a dark, oily Brazilian maduro wrapper with a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan Criollo leaves beneath. The result is a decadent experience with pronounced coffee notes, just the right amount of sweetness, some hints of spice, and a bit of cedar.
